AUSTIN (KXAN) — Hundreds of thousands of festival goers will flock to Zilker Park over the next two weekends for the 22nd Austin City Limits Music Festival, running Oct. 6-8 and Oct. 13-15. As you put the finishing touches on your festival-ready 'fits and finalize your artist playlist, here's a breakdown of how to get to and from Zilker Park.Free shuttle servicesACL will run a free shuttle service traveling to and from Zilker Park, with attendees boarding at Republic Square Park in downtown Austin. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Late Texas musician Stevie Ray Vaughan would've turned 69 this week. To honor the iconic Dallas native, the Trail Conservancy is holding a birthday celebration Tuesday from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Stevie Ray Vaughan Memorial Statue at Auditorium Shores. This year also marks the 30th anniversary since the statue was placed there, according to the conservancy. Two people died in a head-on crash on the 91 Freeway in Corona early Monday morning.A wrong-way driver behind the wheel of a Tesla Model 3 was reported headed east in westbound lanes at 12:10 a.m., and two minutes later, they crashed head-on into a Mitsubishi Lancer near the on-ramp for North Lincoln Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.Footage from the scene showed that both vehicles sustained burn damage, but the fires were extinguished by the time cameras arrived.While initially only one fatality was confirmed, CHP officials later clarified that both drivers were killed as a result of the crash.
